Washington-born and raised jazz, R&B and soul singer Sonja embarked on a singing career at an early age. Sonja’s roots were as a gospel singer in the church choir, but she quickly moved to sharing the stage with Patti Labelle and opening for such artists as Phil Perry, Sinbad, Angela Boyfill, SOS Band, just to name a few.

Sonja had a major role in the traveling company of the hit play “Choir Rehearsal” . Sonja would like to inspire other up and coming artists and touch someone with her message through her voice, song and deliverance.
